Our Practice
Mission Statement: Our commitment is to treat your pet as one of our own. We strive to provide high quality, professional, and loving care at Tara Animal Hospital.
Tara Animal Hospital was established in 1988 by Dr. Susan Read. Our practice provides full service care for dogs, cats, rabbits, and pocket pets.
The doctors and staff at Tara Animal Hospital make continuing education a priority, and regularly attend seminars in internal medicine, neurology, and dermatology. The doctors are also members of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association.
Our staff is a close knit group, trained in many areas of the hospital. Their duties at the hospital include everything from phlebotomy to radiology. Staff meetings are scheduled every three weeks to provide continuity and quality treatment for patients. Client education, excellent communication, and state of the art equipment are essential elements to our success.
Tara Animal Hospital is proud to have been an AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accredited hospital since 2001. AAHA accreditation represents a commitment to our continued growth and goal of excellence as a veterinary hospital. AAHA helps practice owners meet the goal of excellent patient care by providing and regulating standards of quality veterinary medicine, facility maintenance, and client service. We are happy to have been able to meet these high standards of excellence.
